Assistant Director Rishikesh Pawar Arrested On Sushant Singh Rajput's Drugs Supply Case

Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has reportedly arrested assistant director Rishikesh Pawar who was said to involved in Sushant Singh Rajput's connection to the drugs casePawar had been on the run since last month.

A month ago, the Mumbai Sessions court dismissed the expectant bail supplication of Rishikesh Pawar in the Sushant Singh Rajput drugs case which is being examined by the NCB.

NCB authorities had since January 8 dispatched a manhunt to grab Rishikesh Pawar, who was addressed by NCB in September a year ago when a few people related with the entertainer were addressed. Pawar's job in providing medications to late Sushant Singh Rajput became known.

Pawar is blamed for providing medications to SSR. His name sprung up in cross examination with Sushant's staff part Dipesh Sawant, who educated that Pawar was one of the people who provided him drugs.

Sawant was captured by NCB for conveying medications to Sushant on the guidelines of entertainer Rhea Chakraborty and her sibling Showik who were likewise captured by the NCB.

Zonal Director of NCB Sameer Wankhede had then said, "Rishikesh Pawar is an accused named in the C.R. no 16/20. He is Assistant Director of Sushant Singh Rajput’s dream project. Various evidences clearly reveal the role played by the Rishikesh Pawar in supplying drugs to the late actor Mr. Sushant Singh Rajput for a monetary consideration". 

He also told, "In a search at his residence, one laptop was seized, from which incriminating data was recovered. In this regard, NCB issued notices u/s 67 of NDPS Act, 1985 for further investigation. He failed to reach the NCB office several times. On Tuesday, he was found at his residence in Chembur and was brought to the NCB office for examination in the case".

NCB Officials said that Pawar will be produced in court on Wednesday.
